Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry Inducts Heather Fleming
Mrs. Fleming is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sharelooms
SAN DIEGO, CA, June 9, 2022, Heather Fleming has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. Inclusion is limited to individuals who possess professional integrity, demonstrate outstanding achievement in their responsible fields and have made innumerable contributions to society as a whole.
For more than 15 years, Mrs. Fleming has owned and operated Sharelooms in San Diego, her family-owned business, as President and Chief Executive Officer. Devoted to helping clients share, document and preserve their family history. The organization specializes in creating Legacy projects including: custom family history video biographies and memorials, as well as life storybooks, coffee table photo books, family recipe photo books, custom greeting cards and calendars.
Working closely with clients to bring their vision to life, Mrs. Fleming initially provides a free consultation either in person or via Zoom to help them design their legacy project. She will then interview, gather, scan, restore and transfer the submitted photographs into high-quality legacy projects. If a client is not local, Mrs. Fleming will have them ship the photographs directly to her office. Once completed, she will ship the final project directly back to them.
Sharelooms was inspired by the loss of her Grandpa. After his passing, Mrs. Fleming called her Grandma to check in on her and was surprised to hear her Grandpa’s voice on the answering machine. It was so powerful to hear his voice again and left her wondering what she could do to better preserve her family’s memories. After much consideration, Mrs. Fleming founded Sharelooms. Sharelooms clients often comment that they are “so thankful to Sharelooms for capturing their family’s story for their children, grandchildren and future generations.”
Prior to establishing her business, Mrs. Fleming was a project manager for a local start-up company. She also worked for several other organizations, including as a Management Associate for Wallace Computer Services (now RR Donnelley). Active in her community, Ms. Fleming has served as a board director, president and co-president at her children’s school Foundation. She has also served as a board director for a local soccer club.
Mrs. Fleming holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication, magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She also completed several certifications in her field, as well as a management training program. In 2019, Mrs. Fleming was recognized with a Volunteer of the Year Award. She was previously named as the Presidio Manager of the Year in 2018.
